Here’s a look at my favorite tarot decks! I’ve included direct Amazon links—just in case you feel inspired to add one (or more!) to your collection. 😊
My go-to tarot decks are The Rider Waite Tarot Deck, Mythic Tarot and Modern Witch Tarot.
That said, I love to explore new decks, and as you can see from the photo above, I have quite a collection!
The Rider Waite Tarot Deck – I’d still recommend everyone to have a Rider Waite deck. The symbolism, colours and numerology will really give you a great foundation to explore other decks. Buy here.
The Mythic Tarot Deck – This was the deck used in my Tarot Therapy lessons. The deck features gods and goddesses, heroes and heroines of the Greek myths. The book that accompanies these cards is very detailed. Buy here.
Grunge Tarot – As a huge Grunge fan, I couldn’t resist this deck. Features iconic musicians such as Kurt Cobain as The Fool, Chris Cornell as The Emperor, Eddie Vedder as The Chariot. A must buy for any grunge lover! Buy here.
Music Tarot – Another music inspired deck – because for me, music is therapy. How could I say no to a music themed tarot deck featuring Beyonce as The Empress, Bjork as The High Priestess, Tupac as The Tower, Lady Gaga as Strength, Nina Simone as The Moon, and many more! These music legends are now legends of the tarot! Buy here.
Mystic Tarot – This deck is beautiful. I’ve bought it as a present for people too. Bright colours, holographic edges, this deck feel luxe. There is a good detailed guidebook included too. Buy here.
Tattoo Tarot – For all Tattoo lovers out there. Features bold, ink-inspired artwork. Buy here.
The Muse Tarot – I love this deck! Bright, inspiring art. I once gifted it to a friend, and she cried when she opened it. The suits are named different in this deck but you will easily get the hang of it, it might even help beginners as they reflect the significance of the cards ie. Emotions (Cups), Inspiration (Wands), Voices (Swords), and Materials (Pentacles). Buy here.
The Modern Witch Tarot – I have to admit these are one of my favourites. I have the pocket version in a tin so this is my go-to deck to take with me for casual readings with friends while we are out and about. You might need to shop around for the pocket version. The cards I think are easy to read, the symbolism on the cards are good. This deck is diversity friendly. Buy here.
The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot – The deck is a work of art that explores the mysteries of the natural world and the animal kingdom. The version I have come in a tin and are pocket sized. Buy here.
I hope that has give you plenty of new temptation for your next Tarot Deck. I’d love to hear from you about all the decks you love. If you want to read about other resources I love such as books and podcasts please visit here.
